Aroha was founded in 2015 with a simple aim: to do things differently.

After 13 years in a senior sales role within a local estate agency, I decided it was time to step back and build something of my own , something more personal and straightforward.

Aroha was never just about selling or letting property. It was built on the belief that estate agency can be done with more modern, transparent, with integrity, and a genuine focus on people. The goal was to move away from outdated, pushy sales tactics and instead offer an honest, human approach that clients could actually trust.

Three years ago, Scott and Lucy joined me as business partners, a move that has strengthened both our leadership and our direction. Together, we’ve cultivated a strong, capable team that shares the same values and work ethic. Our focus remains simple, delivering a service that’s grounded, reliable, and built on real relationships.

This is more than just a business, it’s a way of working that we genuinely believe in. And that’s what drives everything we do at Aroha.
